Sony has unveiled a DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment for the PlayStation 4 that allows gamers to map two gamepad buttons in an easier-to-reach location, similar to current customizable controllers available through third-party companies.

Usually reserved for faster reaction time in shooters like Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and other competitive FPS, the back button attachment can specify up to three different profile set-ups. An OLED screen on the back of the button showcases what layout is currently in use. The add-on is compatible with “all of your favorite” PS4 and PlayStation VR games, according to a blog post, and also features a passthrough to use a headset.

Sony will ship the Back Button Attachment to North America on January 23 for $30 USD ($40 CAD), and Europe February 14 for €30 EUR.
